Swain Scholarship

The Swain Scholarship was established in 2005, by SJSU alumni and their friends. It is the first collegiate judo scholarship established at a major university in the United States. It has helped several of our students pursue their education while training to represent SJSU nationally and the United States internationally.

If you are applying for the scholarship, please fill out the application form and submit it to the San Jose State University Executive Committee.

Donations:

Donations to the Swain Scholarship are tax-deductible and 100% of all donations go to funding the education of America's Judo youth. To make a donation to the Mike Swain Scholarship:

1. Make checks payable to SJSU Foundation-Judo
2. In the notes/memo line write Mike Swain Scholarship
3. Mail checks to:

4. All donations are 100% tax-deductible. You will receive a tax-deduction letter in the mail directly from the SJSU Foundation.
